Join us for an out-of-this-world experience at the Haehl's! Witness the total eclipse in person and be amazed by this rare celestial event. As we get closer, we will let you know about parking, but definitely plan to carpool! Bring chairs or blankets and eclipse glasses (we have some glasses, but probably not enough for everyone). We will have some snacks, pop and beer.
For the April 2024 solar eclipse in Shelbyville, Indiana, the partial eclipse will begin at 1:50 pm and end at 4:23 pm. The full eclpise will be visible starting at 3:06 for almost 4 minutes and will reach it's maximum at 3:08 pm. Glasses need to be worn during the partial eclipse, but can be removed during the full eclipse!
